The triggers behind the Responsible Digital initiative

 ·      The legal framework established in recent years, including the Occitanie Region's Green Pact, as well as various laws such as the AGEC and REEN laws.

·       Corporate Social Responsibility

·       The operational aspect

·       The financial aspect

What were the first steps in your NR initiatives?

For SPIE France, the implementation of Colibris with Leasétic and the structuring of the NR approach with SPIE ICS were the initial steps in implementing the strategy.

For the Occitanie Region, these included repurposing equipment for a second life thanks to the Responsible Digital offer created by Leasétic and SPIE ICS, as well as the implementation of Colibris.

What are the initial results observed?

Nelly MALLET obtained several management indicators, such as the lifespan of her equipment and the tracking of refurbished purchases. Thanks to Colibris, historical data tracking allows for showing developments related to the actions taken.

Sylvain FISCHER, for his part, reduced his PC purchases by 80 per month and extended the lifespan of his equipment. Asset optimization accompanied this initial action, with a possession rate decreasing from 1.3% to 1.2%. Leasétic & Colibris allowed him to manage his usage more effectively and to recover billing errors from operators, amounting to €170K from one of the telecom operators.

The ROI was less than one year.

What are the next steps for your NR initiatives?

For the Occitanie Region, the next step is to obtain NR certification and to create a roadmap for the next three years.

For SPIE France, obtaining NR certification is also a 2023 objective, and sharing best practices with other SPIE countries is a key priority.

Finally, the resale of refurbished equipment for SPIE employees was a desire and a project at SPIE France. In partnership with Leasétic, the platform Loopix was created.
